Alan Paine Knitwear Coming Soon to Hill Billys Country Store
The word is out, Hill Billy’s Country Store is to sell Alan Paine clothing.
This prestigious knitwear brand has been around since the 1920s and is a firm favourite with rowing, tennis, cricket and university folks.
More recently Alan Paine has been in the news as Prince Edward adopted the brand.

Moorgreen Country Show, Notts
If any of you are in the Nottinghamshire area next weekend, why not visit the Moorgreen Country Show? Main Ring events this year include:
- GRS FALCONRY – Back to the wildside with GRS Falconry who allow visitors to get close and personal with hawks, buzzards, falcons and owls and also provide an insight into the art of falconry.
- TOY STORY ON HORSEBACK! – Toy Story as you’ve never seen it before – on horseback featuring six giant Shires! Six magnificent Shires will dance to Toy Story music ridden by characters in Toy Story costume.
- UNAFFILIATED SHOW JUMPING – Unaffiliated Show Jumping Classes held in the Main Ring in the morning on both days.
- CLASSIC CAR PARADE – The Parade of Classic Cars appearing at this year’s Moorgreen Country Show takes place in the Main Ring on both days of the Show.
- STEAM ENGINE & TRACTOR PARADE? – Our parade of Steam Engines and Tractors also takes place in the Main Ring (on Sunday only).
- BLOODHOUNDS – An amazing display of Bloodhounds takes place in the Main Ring on both days at the Show this year.
- CONVOY – THE PARADE of TRUCKS from the WORKING TRUCK SHOW – Join the convoy for Moorgreen’s first ever Working Truck Fest! 2010 see the debut of the Moorgreen Working Truck Show. Around 100 of these giants of the road will parade in the Main Ring (on SUNDAY only).
Should be a great show for everyone!
